Tutor was founded to build the intelligence that lets machines see, learn, and act alongside people in the most complex, real-world production environments.

by putting it to work in the real world

Our teams work at the edge of AI, robotics, and operations to embody robotic systems with humans' intuitive understand of the physical world and how to interact with it.

The virtuous cycle

We deploy robots into the real world, use our platform to learn from human interaction, and use that increased intelligence to deploy more capable robots into more environments, continuing the cycle.

Research and impact, perfectly aligned

Tutor is striving to both advance the entire field of robotics, and to put our most powerful innovations to work in the real world.

A customer obsessed robotics partner for the industrial world

Tutor is already the robotics partner of choice for some of the world's biggest brands and we're far from finished. We're obsessed with real-world impact and the tangible value delivered into the physical economy through our deployments.

Meet the team behind Tutor

Tutor was founded out of MIT’s Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) by Josh Gruenstein and Alon Kosowsky-Sachs to build and scale physical intelligence for the most complex manufacturing and logistics environments.
