1Introduction
Get to know Tutor; we'll tell you about our systems and learn about your site.
We'll tell you about:
- Cobot capabilities, like speed and strength
- Our pricing and lead times
- The system footprint on the floor
- How our customers interact with robots day-to-day
- Download our intro deck to see what we'll talk through
We'll ask questions like:
- How many lines do you have?
- How fast do they run?
- How much do cases weigh?
- Where are the sites located?
2Project Scope
We'll make sure all your questions are answered, and then we'll put the plan on paper and share our boilerplate Terms of Service.
That document will include:
- Deployment date + schedule
- Project-specific business terms
- Robot utility needs (air, power, network)
- EOL adjustments, if necessary (sensor, guide-rails)
3Project Formalization
Tutor doesn't require any term of commitment from our customers, so there's not much to sign.
All we ask is for the following, two months before deployment:
4Pre Deployment Preparation
A dedicated Tutor Project manager will guide you and your maintenance and IT teams through the lightweight site-prep, to make sure you're ready to drop the systems into production as soon as they arrive.
5Deployment
Systems will arrive at your site, fully assembled and ready for deployment.
Day 1: Setup
- Forklift units off pallets and roll into position at the end of the line
- Connect systems to utilities (power, air, network) for remote validation
- Anchor systems in place (anchors can be removed if necessary)
Day 2: Activation
Tutor engineers will begin getting the systems up and running in production. This process typically takes one to two days to ensure optimal performance.
